Sorry, But Unemployment HAS Increased Under Obama, Debbie Dunce!

"No; Guy, she IS right. For heaven't sake, you are quoting statistics from Heritage Org!!!!!"

How about THE DEPARTMENT OF LABOUR, BUREAU OF LABOUR STATISTICS, FastEd?

In November 2010, the labour force participation rate was : 64.5%.

In November 2010, the civilian non-institutional population was: 238.715 million

In November 2010, the civilian labour force was: 154.007 million

In November 2010, the unemployment rate was: 9.8%.

In November 2011, the labour force participation rate was: 64.0%.

In November 2011, the civilian non-institutional population was: 240.441 million

In November 2011, the civilian labour force was: 153.883 million

In November 2011, the unemployment rate was, allegedly: 8.6%.

In January 2009, the Bureau of Labor Statistics, in its Employment Situation News Release showed that total employment in the US was at 142.099 million.

In November of 2011, the Employment Situation News Release revealed that total employment in the US was at 140.580 million.

142.099 million - 140.58 million = 1.519 million

In January 2009, the private sector, labour force was 153,716.

In November 2011, the private sector, labour force was 153,883

142.099 million - 140.58 million = 1.519 million fewer Americans are working today than before Obama signed the $840 billion Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious Stimulus Act of 2009 into law.

BUT, because the workforce is actually larger today than then, that number is deceptive. If the labour force in 2009 was 153.883 million instead of 153.716 million, the number would be 1.686 million.

Only in the Land of Debbie Dunce & Special Ed can:

1. The civilian non-institution labour population INCREASE by 1.726 million in one year.

AND

2. The labour force participation rate DECREASE by .5% in one year.

AND

3. The civilian labour force DECREASE by 0.124 million in one year.

AND

4. The unemployment rate declines by 1.2% in one year.

There are MORE people, but FEWER employed than a year ago; yet, the unemployment rate drops by 1.2% and that is supposed to be a good thing? LMFAO!

Now, if everyone would just stop working, we could have ZERO UNEMPLOYMENT!!!
