Hagel Brings The Stupid

A long-time Capitol Hill Democrat astounded by the hearing tells Jennifer Rosen of the Washington Post:

“It is very clear from the testimony that Sen. Hagel will not be bringing the potato salad to the next Mensa picnic.”

…of course, the astounded, “long-time Capitol Hill Democrat” could be Hank “Guam Might Tip Over And Capsize” Johnson  and I’m pretty sure that he won’t even be bringing the red ants to the next Mensa picnic.

But, back to Hagel, who Obama wants to run our military.  First, you probably don't know this, but Chuck Hagel was NOT, contrary to the Palace Media Guard's meme, Obama's first choice to be  SecDef.  Allidunce was.  Of course, even Obama realised that he couldn't levy that kind of idiocy on the United States.  Second, if you have any doubts that Hagel was an EPIC FAIL, then allow this sampling of tweets from right and left to put them away:
